DJERBISM POSTAGE is work composed of custom stamps, filled with stills from PONKS’ work DJERBISM, an experimental video poem about the heat-fuelled sunrise that engulfs the Southern island of Tunisia. Djerba sunrise slowly flips up sits up on the whole sky swallows you below like a thick drink just cool enough to take down. A pink simmer on your lashes on empty heads of the morning checks, innerly, that harshly touch, nourishing baskets on the bud of an argument. A hand, a weight, a decision.
