This piece is part of RITUAL, an exhibition exploring the transformative power of rites of passage. ceremonies or actions that mark significant life changes, such as getting a driver’s license, menstruating, marrying, or joining a community. These rituals help individuals understand and prepare for their roles in society. Through this lens, PONKS invites viewers to experience symbolic transformation, encouraging reflection, imagination, and critical thinking about our roles in reconnecting the Mediterranean’s shared cultural and historical threads.
