FLANEUR is an experimental art book of 10 poems, 10 posters, illustration animation on Hamruniz aaaand is the first publication by PONKS.

Commissioned by Refugeeweek Malta this art book was the centre of the first iteration of FLANEUR as a framework, in which PONKS captured Hamrun, a suburb town in flux, through its people and independent places.

What emerged is an alternative map made of poetry, experimental poster work and animation. FLANEUR was the anchor of the exhibition of the same name within in Hamrun’s old train station, in which the posters and poster were on display on a 14m steel installation, akin to train carriages that would be repaired within the hall a century ago.
